The Senior Manager, Physical Security will lead the physical security program supporting all SEA offices, campuses, labs, and operational environments. This includes managing a large contract security workforce, overseeing compliance with applicable frameworks and internal standards, managing 24/7/365 Security Command Center, and ensuring the consistent, high-quality delivery of security services across a complex, geographically distributed environment.
The role requires deep operational experience, strong executive communication, and the ability to partner closely with senior leadership, facilities teams, legal, HR, and other cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic judgment and hands-on operational
Physical Security Operations
Lead the physical security program across all SEA-owned and leased sites in the United States.
Manage day-to-day operations including access control, incident response, camera systems, alarms, visitor management, and perimeter security.
Oversee the Security Command Center and ensure high availability, incident escalation standards, and operational readiness.
Possess business acumen and willingness to develop long lasting relationships with local, state and Federal law enforcement agencies across the United States and Internationally.
Guard Force & Vendor Management
Provide leadership and oversight for a large contract guard force deployed across multiple campuses and facilities.
Manage vendor performance, SLAs, KPIs, post orders, staffing models, and escalation protocols.
Lead vendor evaluations, RFPs, contract negotiations, and workforce optimization initiatives.
Security Technology & System Design
Must have experience with overseeing access control systems (S1, Lenel, etc.) and video surveillance infrastructures of various technologies.
Evaluate, design, and approve physical security system architecture for new sites, remodels, expansions, and special projects.
Partner with IT, Facilities, and external integrators to deliver reliable, scalable, and compliant security technologies.
Events, VIP Support & Special Operations
Manage physical security for corporate events, VIP visits, executive meetings, product launches, and high-visibility gatherings.
Coordinate with Legal, HR, Corporate Communications, Facilities, and other partners to ensure safe and seamless operations.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure alignment with relevant security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and internal Samsung standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain physical security policies, procedures, SOPs, and playbooks.
Drive audit readiness and ongoing compliance across all physical security domains.
Leadership & Program Management
Lead and develop a team of security professionals and oversee the performance of security contractors.
Manage large-scale budgets, forecast spend, and ensure cost-effective delivery of security operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, mature program capabilities, and integrate best practices across SEA’s security ecosystem.
Provide crisis management leadership during incidents, emergencies, or disruptions impacting SEA operations.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, and/or equivalent work experience of 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate security, physical security operations, risk management, or related fields.
Experience managing multi-site corporate security programs and large-scale contract guard forces.
Expertise in access control systems (S1, Lenel) and physical security technology architecture.
Ability to lead complex projects from design to implementation in fast-paced environments.
Excellent communication skills and the presence to interact confidently with senior executives.
Experience managing significant budgets and optimizing large operational programs.
Deep knowledge of relevant security frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Strong crisis management, problem-solving, and operational leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in technology, manufacturing, or high-growth corporate environments.
Familiarity with emergency management, business continuity, and incident command practices.
Physical & Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel up to 50% to support SEA sites, events, special operations, and critical security needs.
Ability to respond to after-hours incidents and emergency situations as needed.

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $157,500 and $194,500. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
