What you will do

  • Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internship located in Fishers, Indiana. This internship is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives. join the software engineering team and work as a team member under direction of experienced engineers. You will apply and enhance your engineering skills to develop, test, and support software related products.

    This is an onsite (non-remote) position located in Fishers, Indiana, starting Fall 2024.

    How you will do it:

    • Fall 2024
    • Tasked with a specific project
    • Attend provided enrichment/ development sessions
    • Learning about the general product requirements.
    • Assisting engineering team with robotics., physical security and AI related work.
    • Assisting development team with testing and troubleshooting defects

    What we look for

    Required Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a B.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering with a Graduation date no sooner than Dec 2023.
  • Currently a Sophomore/Junior status
  • Good Academic Standing
  • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to work on-site in the Fishers, IN office.
  • Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills required
  • Experience with C/C++
