What You’ll Get to Do:

As a CACI-SOAS USAREUR-AF Project Officer (Security Clearance Information Management)/Language and Translation Specialist), you will support US Army Europe/Africa G2 and other Intelligence related mission partners, as a key team member of a complex program that provides professional services in support of advisory and analysis efforts associated with Intelligence Warfighting Function (IWfF) mission areas. The USAREUR-AF TMISS Team will research, analyze, and produce near- and long-term all source assessments on terrorism / counterterrorism, and multi-discipline counter-intelligence issues in response to CG USAREUR-AF’s priority intelligence requirements and to enable U.S. and foreign partner counterintelligence operations. You will be a member of a team that supports the Intelligence Directorate of the Army Component Command of both the US European Command and US Africa Command.

More About the Role:

As a USAREUR-AF Project Officer (Security Clearance Information Management) / Language and Translation Specialist) you will embed at USAREUR/AF G2, located at Clay Kaserne in Wiesbaden, Federal Republic of Germany and may travel as required, to perform services at other locations within the USEUCOM or US AFRICOM AOR or Area of Interest (AOI) to meet mission requirements in both CONUS and OCONUS locations.

These positions are contingent upon SOFA approval or commensurate work-Visa requirements at the primary place of duty. Employee must be willing to work shifts, overtime, and/or deploy to austere or hostile fire zones as required.

As a Project Officer (Security Clearance Information Management)/Language and Translation Specialist Other duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Interpret and translate security clearance information received from the Bundesamt Fur Verfassungsschutz (BfV) through the Local National Screening Program (LNSP).

  • Converse and comprehend the German language for phone and in-person conversations with BfV, and will ensure accurate technical interpretation and translation of legal documents for security clearance information to facilitate decision-making and compliance with access requirements.

  • Work directly with the USAREUR-AF Command Security Team to provide the background check information to units that have requested security clearance checks. This collaboration aims to ensure the timely and accurate dissemination of security clearance information to the relevant units.

  • Maintain close coordination with the Command Security Team to address any inquiries, provide updates, and support the overall security clearance process.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • BA/BS +6 Years of Experience

  • Over 3 years of experience processing, managing and forwarding security clearance information

  • Advanced capability with the German Language U.S. citizenship and minimum active TS/SCI Clearance and willing to take a CI polygraph.

  • Must possess practical knowledge of and experience with DISS, e-QIP/eAPP, NISS.

  • Must have previous industrial security experience and an in-depth knowledge of the NISPOM and ICDs.

  • Must have experience with personnel and physical security, document and visitor control.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally with all levels of staff and outside personnel.

  • Must have experience in the contractor community in security management.

  • Excellent written and oral communications and teamwork skills.

  • Self-starter able to take initiative within a fast paced, agile environment.

  • Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

  • Well organized and confident to work independently but be a strong team player.

  • Ability to effectively manage ambiguity and multi-task on a variety of initiatives.

  • Current and active TS/SCI clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Completion of SCI Contractors Special Security Officer (CSSO) Course

  • Completion of additional Intel Community courses would be a plus.

  • Completion of additional CDSE correspondence courses would be a plus.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$57,500 - 117,900 USD
