Support the Business Side of Superior Medical Services  

​Bring your talents to NewYork-Presbyterian, and help represent our collective commitment to service of the highest caliber. As one of our Account Representatives, you will work with patients and third-party payors to ensure proper coverage for the care and caring we deliver.

Account Representative - Full Time - Midtown Location (Hybrid)

Transform your career in this pivotal position, which covers all billing for our hospital.  Ensure that bills are complete and comprehensive. Review and monitor all billing exception reports for correction/re-submission. Ensure that all claims are submitted in the accepted timeframe. Investigate patient inquiries involving financial matters to secure payment. Secure and process payments from insurance companies and self-pay patients. Take appropriate action upon denial or request for further information.  

Preferred Criteria 

• Two to four year’s prior experience

• Bilingual (Spanish)

• Associates degree

Required Criteria

• High School diploma or GED

• PC/Data entry keyboarding skills

• Ability to demonstrate compassion and strong customer service skills

• Effective communication skills. Solid working knowledge of third party insurance payors
