The Senior Executive is responsible for delivering end‑to‑end HR operational and administrative support to assigned Schools for the University’s faculty population, with a focus on Appointment, Reappointment, Promotion & Tenure (PT), Job Changes and Exit Management. The role ensures that all faculty‑related processes are executed in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs), maintaining high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This position supports Schools in managing faculty operational matters by coordinating, preparing and verifying documentation, maintaining data integrity across HR systems, and providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support. The Senior Executive works closely with stakeholders, the School’s Faculty Affairs Office, and HR Business Partners to ensure smooth, reliable, and efficient HR services throughout the faculty lifecycle.

The incumbent is also expected to support University‑level meetings, including coordinating meeting schedules, preparing logistics, taking minutes, and collaborating closely as part of a team to ensure effective execution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end‑to‑end HR processes for faculty, including Appointment, Reappointment, Promotion & Tenure, Job Changes, and Exit Management.

  • Provide HR operational and secretariat support to School‑level committees involved in faculty appointment, reappointments, promotion and tenure deliberations.

  • Offer HR advisory support to Schools on related processes, policies, and procedural requirements.

  • Support University‑level meetings by preparing logistics, taking minutes, and working jointly with team members to ensure smooth coordination.

  • Contribute to HR‑related projects, process improvement initiatives, and workflow enhancements.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource, Social Sciences, Business, or related disciplines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good interpersonal and organisational abilities.

  • Meticulous, with a strong service‑oriented mindset.

  • Demonstrates strong time management skills, with the ability to work independently to meet SLAs and manage workload effectively during peak periods.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat applications.

  • Experience with Workday is an advantage.
