Are you ready to build a meaningful career where you help create healthy, confident smiles that last a lifetime? Leap Kids Dental is seeking a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing team.
In this role, you will work closely with the dentist and clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care. You’ll support both clinical and technical procedures, prepare operatories, and assist during exams and treatments to ensure each visit runs smoothly and safely.
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
Prepare and maintain operatories, instruments, and equipment
Clearly and calmly explain treatment plans and next steps to patients and parents
Verify prior authorization requirements and confirm signed consent forms are completed
Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout visits
Accurately document treatments and clinical notes in electronic and paper records
Support office flow through room turnover, cleaning, and restocking supplies
Provide consistent, friendly support to patients, families, and team members
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential required
Current CPR certification required
Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant training program
At least 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable using computers and dental software systems
Able to work independently and anticipate provider and team needs
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
Respectful, compassionate, and team-focused with a positive attitude
