Provide advanced technical pre-sales, implementation and project management support for achieving sales objectives, working in close collaboration with commercial managers. Demonstrate the technical value of SWIFT products and services to customers, identify solutions to their technology requirements and support their implementation. Operates in highly complex and technical environment in a selected market supported by Swift, namely Alliance Messaging Hub (AMH) customers in Swift's Americas region. Assist in formulating key, clear and attainable recommendations to the customer. These consultancy engagements aim at helping our customer to improve their operational efficiency, reduce costs and mitigate operational risk. The key responsibilities of this role are as follows: Assist in the analysis of a specific business/technical domain to evaluate and understand short and medium term tactical – and potentially strategic – customer requirements. Help prepare underlying documentation and supporting business / technical flows, and deliver presentations. Assist in the articulation of objective, relevant and accurate recommendations for the customer to make operational improvements. Help identify potential business opportunities for Swift within the area covered by the team. In coordination with the Team Lead, help the customer and the relevant account manager, translate the recommendations into clear and tangible actions for the business / technical area covered. Identify and quantify any Swift product or service deficiencies discovered during the customer engagement. Coach junior team members within the Americas region, and contribute to the Global AMH Solution Management Stream to drive global best practices and standardization alignment, representing the interest of Americas’ AMH customers.

This is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days/week required in the office in accordance with company policy. Position requires 5-10% domestic and international travel, primarily throughout the Americas region.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, mathematics, or closely related field (or foreign equivalent).
  • Requires 5 years of experience as a financial services industry consultant, professional services consultant, or related software development, design, or architecture role.
  • Also requires 5 years of experience with Swift’s messaging protocol and Alliance Messaging Hub.

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in New York is $152,859 to $182,602.35 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
