Are you ready to take on a leadership role in credit risk management and play a critical role in managing financial risk for a global company? Western Union is seeking a Manager, Risk & Credit Finance to drive credit risk management for a diverse portfolio of business partners. In this role, you will assess credit risk, monitor exposures, manage receivables, and play a key part in stakeholder reporting and decision-making to cap Western Union’s credit exposure to specific and sovereign risks.

Key Responsibilities:
Credit Risk Assessment: Assess the creditworthiness of business partners and prospects. Provide high-quality, professional credit reviews and recommend credit terms that align with Western Union’s risk appetite.
Collections: Execute daily collections in alignment with agent contractual remittance terms.
Risk Identification and Mitigation: Negotiate collateral and manage daily credit limits.
Risk Reporting and Analysis: Produce detailed reports with recommendations for business, finance stakeholders, and executives to proactively manage risk.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate effectively with global Business, Operations, Accounting, Fraud, Legal, Treasury, Compliance teams, agents, and third-party banks.
Requirements:
+7 years of relevant experience in Finance, Credit, or Risk.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
Proficiency in financial statement analysis, credit scoring models, and key financial ratio understanding.
Advanced skills in Excel; Intermediate VBA skills.
Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail, root-cause identification, and complex problem-solving.
Effective negotiation skills for successful outcomes with stakeholders and WU agents.
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure, balancing risk and reward.
Solid prioritization skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English, French, and Arabic.
