This position is responsible mainly for regular monitoring of Budgeting & Forecasting, Accounting and Reporting (both external and internal). The role partners closely with CFO, Financial Controller, Cost Center owners and cross functional team to ensure operational efficiency, compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.

Being a Finance team member, supporting the team on month-end Closing, Financial Reporting and year-end Audit.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring financial projections are accurate, insightful, and aligned with business strategies and objectives.
  • Analyze significant variances and trends in financial and non-financial performance drivers, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Oversee budget performance by monitoring actual results against approved budgets and annual plans, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving corrective actions where needed.
  • Partner with business leaders and department heads to ensure timely submission of accurate and high-quality financial information for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
  • Act as a trusted finance business partner, providing guidance to cost center owners to improve financial discipline, cost management, and decision-making.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation, review, and submission of financial reports, analyses, and management information.
  • Manage and review balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Lead Regional and Group reporting activities, ensuring compliance with corporate reporting requirements and deadlines.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities, ensuring audit requests are addressed efficiently and effectively.
  • Drive process improvements, financial control enhancements, and automation initiatives to strengthen reporting efficiency and data quality.
  • Lead, coach, and develop finance team members, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous professional development.
  • Collaborate with Myanmar and regional stakeholders on cross-functional projects, strategic initiatives, and ad hoc assignments supporting business growth and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or CPA, ACCA holder.

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably in financial service industry with the interface to cross functional departments.

  • Strong track record of project experience, data analytics and financial skills (i.e., deliverables achieved in a timely and budgeted manner).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate willingness to develop analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be proficient in English and Burmese Languages
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Power-point and advance MS Excel skill
  • Must have good attitude, teamwork, and good interpersonal skills
