Summary
The Tax Business Partner will be primarily responsible for the preparation of foreign and U.S. federal income tax returns and tax provision compliance related to certain foreign entities and U.S. international tax items. It will require tax technical knowledge of the relevant foreign tax rules (e.g. Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico) and the U.S. federal international tax rules. The position will also provide tax support to the U.S. federal compliance group on other U.S. domestic items, as may be required. The candidate will perform data preparation, account analysis, and work-paper creation in support of the returns. Position reports to Senior Tax Manager, will work closely with other tax staff and other departments.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare and analyze all book- to -tax differences for assigned entities for tax return and tax provision compliance and reconcile differences between provision and return

  • Periodic account reconciliation for assigned companies

  • Calculate, analyze and maintain related work-papers applying relevant foreign tax rules and/or U.S. international tax rules as amended under TCJA

  • Prepare quarterly foreign estimated payments, foreign filing extensions and foreign and U.S. income tax forms using relevant, tax return software

  • Provide support with audit inquiries as needed

  • Provide support to U.S. federal compliance group on U.S. domestic tax items as requested

  • Manage and analyze ADS fixed assets for tax purposes, model various scenarios for optimal tax planning results

  • Stay abreast of relevant foreign and U.S. federal tax law changes using RIA, CCH, and other Tax Alerts. Analyze and communicate impact to Company

  • Identify and implement process improvements and tax saving opportunities

  • Complete all documentation in compliance with SOX requirements


Additional Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Business or related discipline

  • Master's degree preferred in Taxation or Accounting

  • Five (5) years or more of relevant experience in large multinational corporate tax environment and/or top tier accounting firm required

  • Five (5) years or more ONESOURCE Income Tax/Provision and Hyperion Oracle preferred

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Compensation Information:

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc.

Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type:

Salaried

Minimum Pay Range:

100000

Maximum Pay Range:

110000

The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
