Job Description:

As the China Security Services Delivery Lead, the selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of delivering DXC’s Cyber Defence and Infrastructure Security services. This person will act as the primary technical expert, managing the implementation, management, optimisation, and troubleshooting of security solutions across various domains, such as network security, endpoint security, and cloud security. They will ensure the integration of security controls functions seamlessly to provide comprehensive protection to clients.

This person will need to manage a team of MSS engineers, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks efficiently. This person will need to incorporate delivery best practices from within APJMEA region into China Security delivery processes.

This role requires strong collaboration with DXC Account Delivery Leaders and clients. The Security Services Delivery Lead will support pre-sales efforts by offering technical expertise and advice during the solution design phase. From the delivery aspect, this person will support and work closely with the Security Delivery Leaders in customer engagements around service reporting, escalations, and incident management.

Job Description

Delivery Goals:

  • Technical Delivery: Lead the technical delivery of DXC Security services across various domains including cybersecurity design, implementation, and management network, endpoint, cloud, vulnerability management, and security operations platform.
  • Security Control Integration: Oversee and lead the integration of security tooling to ensure they are correctly configured and operating correctly.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of Security engineers, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties. Foster a culture of collaboration, technical innovation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Incident Response: Lead the technical response to security incidents, working with internal teams and clients to mitigate risks and restore normal operations.
  • Service improvements: Work with team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with security controls. Proactively lead the team to optimise and automate service delivery to provide good service and increase client satisfaction.

Business Goals

  • Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with pre-sales teams to offer technical guidance in designing tailored security solutions that meet clients’ requirements. Assist in responding to client inquiries during the sales process.
  • Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings with Account Delivery and Security Delivery Leaders to discuss service performance reports and handle any service-related escalations. Ensure ongoing client satisfaction and meeting service level agreement.
  • Collaboration with Account Teams: Work with other DXC delivery units to align technical delivery goals with broader business objectives. Contribute to business development by ensuring the technical team is trained and ready to deliver on new service opportunities.
  • Team Readiness: Work with GCR Security Leader to ensure the Security team is continuously trained and certified to meet evolving service requirements. Ensure the team is aligned with the latest security technologies, industry standards and market demand.
  • : Ensure that costs of delivering services are managed, and the Security team are highly utilized.

Qualification/ Experience

  • Graduate Bachelor of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent or higher qualification.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Cybersecurity domain. Must have handled roles like SOC Manager, Information Security Manager, or equivalent. Overall experience of around 15 years.
  • Extensive experience with security technologies, including firewalls, IPS, WAF, NDR, EPP, EDR, SSE, CNAPP, and NDR. Knowledge of security identity controls such as MFA, SSO, IGA is a bonus.
  • Strong hands-on experience with security operations tools like SIEM, SOAR, and XDR.
  • Proven ability to integrate, troubleshoot, and optimise security controls across complex environments. Having SOC experience will be a plus.
  • Experienced managing and mentoring a team in a technical environment, with a focus on cybersecurity service delivery.
  • Client-facing experience, including pre-sales support and managing escalations.
  • Demonstrated incident response experience, including coordination with internal and external teams.
  • Must have handled or exposure to Security business management with demonstrated skills around driving towards budgeted revenue and margin goals.
  • Experience in handling Security delivery matters in China. Candidate should be aware of regulatory requirements such as China’s Cybersecurity Law, MLPS, PIPL and DSL; standards like PCI DSS and frameworks like NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT.
  • Security Certifications (minimum one preferred):
  • Two or more cybersecurity vendor certifications
