Ambassador Duty Free Detroit is located at the foot of North America's #1 Border Crossing. The Ambassador Duty Free Warehouse is over 15,000 sq. ft. and carries over 800 different products.

The Warehouse is the leading supply chain for our over 35,000 sq. ft store. The Warehouse Manager assists in the overall day to day operations of our Duty Free Operations with a focus on:

- Knowledge of products, competitive conditions, and market trends. Extensive understanding and knowledge of Liquor and Tobacco is a requirement.

- Ability to help translate market trends into an action plan to grow the customers' business. Weekly analysis regarding customer trends/preferences and opportunities for demand planning and stock.

- Ability to lift 25lbs cases and utilize warehouse tools, including but not limited to pallet jacks, motorized pallet jacks, and forklifts.

- Ability to count products fast, measure, multiply, divide, and add stock numbers without tools on the Warehouse or store floor.

- Ability to recognize, respond, and communicate sales opportunities and or threats to inventory and stock.

- Effectively manage shelf and floor space to company standards in the front and back of the house.

- Ability to take accurate inventories and recommend appropriate stock levels while making sure all areas are clean and presentable at all times.

- Manages delivery scheduling.

- Manages and handles all facets of product flow, pulls, stocking, and inventory controls with the warehouse and store team.

- Responsible for proper Custom Border Patrol Reporting

- Responsible for proper management & reporting within the internal warehouse system.

- Responsible for Class 9 Bonded Warehouse & Delivery requirements
