Leidos’ Health and Civil Sector is seeking a dynamic, mission-centric hands-on Lead User Experience (UX)/ User Interface (UI) Designer to support a federal agency’s large, mission-critical enterprise environment.
The Lead UI/UX Designer will be part of an agile delivery team focused on delivering new customer-facing web-based applications with an emphasis on providing high value features to our customers. You will assist in the design, implementation, and testing of applications and web pages, as a core support member for the team working closely with the Product Owner and high performing development team to help manage the product. The selected individual will be part of a software development team utilizing an agile development methodology. The ideal candidate is someone with strong analysis skills, HCD and UI/UX knowledge combined with the ability to clearly communicate UI/UX concepts and the current Information Architecture. A successful candidate will have the appropriate experience and business understanding to prioritize initiatives and work with both management and our clients. The successful candidate should be collaborative, an analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and program management skills to deliver the best solutions in support of the customer’s mission. The candidate must possess strong communications skills and the demonstrated ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Candidate MUST:
be US Citizen or US Person with the ability to obtain a Public Trust level 5 Clearance
Remote work - must be located in the United States for the current three consecutive years.
