Reporting to the Head of Business Development and Partnerships at Nasdaq Verafin, the Senior Director of Partner Business Development will play a pivotal role in driving strategic revenue growth through the development and management of high-impact distribution and integration partnerships bringing complimentary third-party solutions and data insights to our +2,700 Financial Institution customers. 

 

This position requires exceptional business development skills, relationship-building skills, and the ability to execute complex partnership distribution and technical/data integration strategies in the dynamic fraud and AML ecosystem. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Distribution Partner Development:Identify, develop and sign new distribution partners that enhance Verafin’s partner ecosystem with complimentary fraud, AML and threat intelligence capabilities that create new revenue streams. 

  • Integration Partner Development:Identify, develop and sign new integration and data partners that enrich Verafin’s core fraud and AML products. 

  • Partner Relationship Management: Own partner relationships, drive performance, forecast accuracy, and booking and revenue growth. 

  • Joint GTM Execution: Build and execute joint GTM plans and co-sell motions with partners and internal sales and marketing stakeholders. 

  • Pipeline and Forecast Discipline:Maintain accurate CRM hygiene, report on partner pipeline, forecast, and attainment. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product etc. to accelerate partner-driven opportunities. 

 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years in partnership business development, technical alliances, or partner account management, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or fraud/AML solutions. 

  • Demonstrated success in exceeding booking and revenue goals through partner ecosystems. 

  • Experience in recruiting, enabling, and managing high-performing partners. 

  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills. 

  • Proficiency in Salesforce and partner management tools (PRM). 

  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree. 

  • Experience with SaaS and API led products, fraud and AML solutions. 

This position will be located in New York, Toronto, or St. John’s and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $150,000 - $293,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
