What You Will Do

The Production Scheduler for one of our product lines will be responsible for scheduling operations, ensuring effective interactions and maintaining adequate inventory levels. This role involves tracking production performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.  Other functions include maintaining major equipment records, publish shop related reports and monitor activity of critical inventory items.

How You Will Do It


•    Generate timely production schedules to optimize production and transportation efficiencies.
•    Monitor, track, and report on supplier delivery due dates, identifying late delivery risks and handling escalations according to JCI procedures.
•    Coordinate with Manufacturing, Buyers, Quality, and Engineering to ensure materials arrive on time, facilitating quick and accurate parts availability to meet customer demands.
•    Maintain replenishment signals to ensure smooth material flow to the manufacturing floor, enhancing operational efficiency.
•    Provide daily support for production needs by prioritizing tasks, and resolving supply issues.
•    Support departmental activities to ensure on-time customer delivery, maintain inventory accuracy, execute inventory days on hand (DOH) while maximizing quality and minimizing costs.
•    Foster effective working relationships and maintain communication with all departments.
•    Operate within budget parameters, contributing to the overall reduction of overhead and costs.
•    Provide key insights related to constraints for the Sales, Inventory, Operations Planning (SIOP) process.

What We Look For


•    University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum of 6 years suggested experience.
•    Strong mechanical and analytical skills are essential, along with knowledge of statistical techniques and problem-solving methodologies.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), as well as internet software and email systems.
•    Experience with MRP and ERP systems, specifically SAP
