    What You’ll Do:

    As a Casual (PRN) Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while actively engaging patients and families throughout the continuum.

    You will monitor patient conditions, prioritize care needs, respond quickly to changes, and adjust care plans as needed—collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to drive positive patient outcomes.

    You will apply evidence-based practices and participate in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and outcomes.

    You will promote a culture of safety by identifying risks, intervening appropriately, and ensuring a safe environment for patients and team members.

    You will administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with clinical protocols while maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.

    You will demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills, supporting team-based care and appropriate delegation.

    You will work across varying shifts and support staffing needs as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a high-acuity setting.

    You will uphold ethical standards, adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics, and contribute to an inclusive, patient-centered care environment.

    You will support professional development by maintaining certifications and completing required education.

    Schedule Details / Additional Information:

    • Schedule: Casual/PRN; minimum shift requirements apply, varied shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed)

    • Licensure & Certification: RN license in applicable state; BLS required (additional certifications may be required based on specialty)

    • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)

    • Experience: Typically 1+ year of clinical nursing experience preferred

    Physical Requirements:
    Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, lifting, and patient handling, including assisting with transfers. Must respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions. Exposure to clinical environments requiring appropriate protective equipment.
