Job Summary
The Senior Manager of Delivery and Channel Marketing will lead efforts to grow Shake Shack’s delivery and digital ordering business across both first-party and third-party platforms. This role is responsible for increasing transaction volume, enhancing customer engagement, and managing the gift card program across digital and physical channels. They will develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that drive delivery adoption, foster customer loyalty, and optimize channel performance. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to scale programs that align with Shake Shack’s brand values.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
Lead the holistic strategy in Delivery (both first- and third-party) to drive growth and sales.
Identify and execute key opportunities across advertising, promotions, product and activations.
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
Track and report on the performance of delivery-related marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team, inclusive of Operations, Finance, Technology and Data to drive campaigns and seamless execution.
Drive strategy and build on the gift card program (both digital and physical) in our first- and third-party channels.
Develop profitable and growth-oriented promotions, campaigns and B2B partnerships.
Manage relationships with external delivery partners and media platforms to maximize marketing impact and effectiveness.
Identify new channel marketing opportunities including affiliate and card programs.
Mentor and develop a team of marketing professionals dedicated to delivery and channel marketing efforts.
Related Experience
Proven success in developing and executing omnichannel marketing strategies, preferably within QSR, fast-casual, or related sectors.
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, CRM, analytics, and performance metrics.
Digital marketing, channel marketing, or hospitality/foodservice marketing with a focus on digital channels. Gift card management experience a plus.
Priority on previous experience in QSR delivery – either on the restaurant side or Delivery partner (DoorDash, Uber or GrubHub).
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with external partners and media vendors
Management consulting, investment banking or strategic agency management a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce strategies, particularly across first-party and third-party delivery platforms.
Proven ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and optimize campaign performance.
Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and revenue growth.
Skilled in partner relationship management, with the ability to collaborate effectively with external vendors and internal teams.
Excellent leadership and team development abilities, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing marketing teams
