OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, this role will be responsible for the strategy execution, evaluation and overall project management of the DE&I calendar heritage months as well as the Courtside Captains who bring the activations to life. This role will also be responsible for acting as point of contact and project manager for all marketing, communications, and external applications / indices. In addition, the role will own the DE&I team operations, including teammate support, DE&I website updates, and invoicing.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Calendar Activations & Heritage Months

  • Lead hyper focused and detail-oriented DE&I activations and heritage month celebrations for the organization including:

    • In partnership with TRGs, own and develop creative activation and communication strategies to raise awareness of DE&I heritage month celebrations.

    • Coordinate and execute all DE&I calendar events, including reserving event space, securing and coordinating vendors, leading day-of event execution.

    • Spearhead opportunities to learn and adapt how activations are tailored and scaled across the organization (i.e., field visits, focus groups, etc.), further informing teammate-facing efforts.

    • Measure impact and reach of efforts through analytics and data driven insights .

  • Actively stay abreast on industry insights, DE&I-related issues, and policies. Leverage knowledge of current and emerging trends to provide a point of view on efforts.

DE&I Courtside Team

  • Own Courtside Captain and Playbook strategy across all areas of the business.

    • Build a playbook each month from the ground up, each with unique activations and designs

    • Maintain Courtside Captains roster and update roster quarterly in partnership with HRBPs

    • Partner with Store Operations, Communications and Field and CSC HRBPs to ensure adoption, implementation, and scale of overall Courtside strategy across the enterprise.

    • Measure impact and reach of efforts through analytics and data driven insights; determine and communicate trends with recommendations for improvement.

Inclusion Crews

  • Create and execute an engagement strategy for Inclusion Crews across all areas of the business.

  • Partner with Communications and HRBPs to ensure adoption and implementation of overall strategy.

  • Identify synergies and facilitate coordination between Courtside Team and Inclusion Crews as well as any other DE&I initiatives and activations to ensure overall alignment to business strategy.

Operations

  • Support DE&I office by owning department expenses and purchases, website updates, reporting and analytics, external survey participation, system management (i.e. ServiceNow, PM platforms), etc.

  • Respond to inquiries and questions sent to the DE&I Inbox or via the internal ticketing request system; also routing to the appropriate individuals.

  • Work on special projects as assigned.

Industry SME

  • With direct guidance from DE&I Leadership, partner with Marketing and Communications teams to draft and publish all communications and marketing materials related to the DE&I calendar and heritage month.

  • Act as point of contact and project manager for participation in external indices including:

    • Creating and managing a project calendar for all external indices and partnering with business partners to accurately complete all application requirements for indices participation.

    • Submit all external indices applications on deadline and with necessary approvals secured.

  • Partner with the DE&I Sr. Manager to execute the strategy for DE&I development programs

  • Partner with DE&I Leadership, Senior Learning & Development Specialist, and other relevant subject matter experts to create and produce materials needed for trainings and DE&I development programs

  • Actively stay abreast on industry insights, diversity-related issues, best practices, and DE&I-related indices. Leverage knowledge of current and emerging best practices regarding diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement; recommending appropriate indices as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3-5 years experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, emphasis on PowerPoint

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
