Job Description Summary
The Aeroderivative Services Engineering LMS100 Package Lead is responsible for leading engineering support activities for the LMS100 package across the aeroderivative installed base. This role is accountable for driving improvements in fleet performance, reliability, availability, and maintainability, while serving as the primary technical support focal point for package and balance-of-plant (BOP) related issues.
In this role, you will build strong cross-functional partnerships across engineering, operations, project management, commercial, sales, field service, sourcing, and quality to resolve complex technical challenges and deliver business results. The ideal candidate brings deep aeroderivative product expertise, a proven ability to lead through influence, and the sound judgment needed to balance technical, operational, and business priorities effectively.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the operating rhythm for the ASE Package Services platform, driving a strong quality mindset, lean principles, and continuous improvement across team activities.
- Serve as the lead focal point for technical escalation within the ASE engineering team for LMS100 Package products.
- Provide guidance and support for customer issue resolution, field event investigations, technical bulletin development, manufacturing support, repair strategies, and root cause analysis.
- Champion and sustain a strong culture of safety across the team.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment with a strong One Team mindset.
- Review and approve technical communications prior to customer release.
- Participate in the Product Control Board and support TG1 planning for package-related field opportunities.
- Act as a key technical interface with customers, insurers, consultants, and internal commercial and customer-facing teams.
- Provide strategic guidance and candid feedback on technical and business challenges, recommending best practices that improve product performance, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and present technical content at Aero User Conferences and engage directly with customers to address technical questions and concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience supporting gas turbine technology, preferably aeroderivative gas turbines and package systems.
- Demonstrated success in customer-facing technical communication and issue resolution.
- Proven leadership capability in a matrixed, cross-functional, high-technology environment.
Desired Characteristics
- Experience using analytics, RM&D, and lifting tools to support reliability improvements and service decision-making.
- Working knowledge of MYA/CSA contract structures and the business considerations that influence profitability and risk.
- Familiarity with technical documentation, including O&Ms, IRMs, service bulletins, and repair instructions.
- Strong understanding of common aeroderivative package failure modes and associated mitigation strategies.
- Awareness of the diverse operating profiles, configurations, and environmental conditions across the Aero fleet.
- Confidence engaging directly with customers and addressing technical questions with professionalism and clarity.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and translate complex technical issues into clear, actionable information.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a high degree of ownership, initiative, and accountability.
- Flexible and willing to travel as required by business needs.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
