Job Description

Portfolio Management Support

  • Assist the team in building and maintaining portfolio exposure reports, meeting materials and minutes.
  • Monitor portfolios to ensure alignment with investment strategy, client objectives and mandates.
  • Co-ordinate portfolio modelling activities in collaboration with investment managers in the region.
  • Prepare qualitative and quantitative market and performance reports for (internal and external) clients.
  • Provide presentation preparation support by creating, managing and updating slide content, supporting the presentations team
  • Begin to build country research and coverage capabilities
  • Collaborate with investment control and investment managers on guideline management and monitoring.

Business Support / Stakeholder engagement

  • Administer and support the global research platform
  • Co-ordinate provision of portfolio information to stakeholders (eg distribution support team – client reporting/consultants/RFPs)
  • Represent APAC Fixed Income teams in projects and business management forums.

Compliance

  • Intermediary with IT and Operations teams

Training and Development

  • To maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance and dealing procedures. To maintain and comply with all regulatory, legal, corporate and client guidelines

Collaboration and Efficiency

  • To develop and maintain knowledge of abrdn Investment's investment process, products and allocated market/sector responsibilities. To take an active role in future process development in line with market evolution.
  • Co-ordinate with colleagues across the globe to ensure consistency and collaboration across the team
  • Seek out opportunities for efficiency
