Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated person with a strong background in KYC (Know Your Customer) applications to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical expertise, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions within a fast-paced environment. This role involves significant hands-on development, testing support, and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance and maintain critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions for KYC applications, adhering to best practices and architectural standards.
  • Apply strong knowledge of application development procedures and concepts, alongside a foundational understanding of other technical domains, to drive system enhancements.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify gaps, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and impact assessment for production issues, implementing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Optimize database queries and reports through SQL tuning, especially for high data volumes, to improve application performance.
  • Provide hands-on support throughout the software development lifecycle, including build processes, code deployment, and Business As Usual (BAU) operations.
  • Contribute to and execute migration-related tasks, ensuring smooth transitions and data consistency.
  • Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, working closely with QA teams and business users.
  • Collaborate effectively with business analysts, database administrators, project managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry.
  • Extensive experience with KYC (Know Your Customer) applications and processes is essential.
  • Strong hands-on experience with relational databases.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming.
  • Solid experience in Unix scripting.
  • Proficiency in version control tools, specifically Bitbucket and Git.
  • Practical experience in SQL tuning and report optimization for large datasets.
  • Ability to perform thorough data analysis to identify and address discrepancies.
  • Experience in supporting build processes, code deployments, and providing ongoing BAU support.
  • Participated in and contributed to migration projects.
  • Experience in providing support for SIT and UAT cycles.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to articulate technical concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proven ability to interact and collaborate effectively with business analysts, database administrators, and project managers across multiple domains.


Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
  • Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
