Reporting to the IT Manager – Business Intelligence and Analytics, the IT Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing Business Intelligence solutions for key stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage full project management life cycle and software development life cycle for the implementation of complex Business Intelligence solutions
- Develop production releases while ensuring stakeholders are involved with scoping, testing, and reviewing actives.
- Develop, mature, improve, and adhere to standard Business Intelligence architecture including processes of data collection, data modeling, data analysis, data visualization, and report design and production.
- Lead application user experience design activities
- Drive process automation and replace manual operations to create efficiency.
- Collaborate with Business Process Owners and key business stakeholders to ensure that applications meet business requirements and functional specifications, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues
- Collaborate with offshore IT resources on Software Development activities including product backlog development; incident management; change management; and release management.
- Review and analyze existing applications effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems
- Provide on-call application support for critical issues as needed
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Power BI and/or Power Platforms development
- A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a business analyst, project management, data analyst, or related role
- Exhibits superior analytical, evaluative, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Tendency to identify and act on opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
- Tendency to design and implement solutions methodically that thoughtfully considers consistency, replicability, scalability, organization, design pattern, user experience, maintenance, and future improvement
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose information systems issues
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, gather information, and lead stakeholders in decision making
- Tendency to learn and adopt new tools and stay up to date with emerging technology
- Demonstrated experience in cross-functional project teams
- Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet project deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
- Good understanding of business process engineering
- Experience with SCRUM or Agile methodology for managing Software Development Life Cycle
- Fundamental understanding of Project Management methodologies
- Ability to travel overseas
- Ability to work in the USA
