Job Title: Transport Manager

Location: Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore, Karnataka

About the Role

JLL is seeking a skilled and proactive Transport Manager to oversee passenger transport operations at Manyata Tech Park, one of Bangalore’s largest and most dynamic business hubs. This role is essential to ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-centric transport services for employees and visitors across the campus.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Management

• Manage a fleet of passenger vehicles including buses and shuttles.
• Ensure regular maintenance, safety inspections, and compliance with transport regulations.
• Optimize routes to improve operational efficiency and reduce travel time across Bangalore’s traffic corridors.

Driver Management & Training

• Supervise drivers and ensure adherence to safety and service standards.
• Design and implement training programs covering safety, customer service, and route knowledge.
• Monitor driver performance and compliance with transport protocols.

Passenger Experience & Safety

• Maintain high standards of customer service and address passenger inquiries.
• Implement safety procedures during boarding, travel, and disembarkation.
• Develop and communicate emergency response protocols for incidents such as breakdowns or accidents.

Scheduling & Logistics

• Plan and manage efficient transport schedules and routes.
• Ensure punctuality and reliability of transport services.
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution.

Compliance & Documentation

• Secure necessary licenses and permits for passenger transport operations.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, driver hours, and incident reports.
• Stay updated on relevant transport regulations and ensure full compliance.

Cost Control & Budgeting

• Monitor and manage transportation-related expenses including fuel and maintenance.
• Allocate resources effectively to optimize service delivery and cost efficiency.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

• Provide timely updates to passengers regarding routes, schedules, and service changes.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as marketing and administration to enhance the overall transport experience.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in transport or fleet management, preferably in a corporate or campus environment.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with transport regulations and safety standards.
• Proficiency in route planning and logistics tools is an advantage.
