What is the Opportunity?

The Avion Rewards Digital team is seeking a passionate, results-oriented, and inventive Lead Digital Product Manager to drive the development of successful products, while helping to define the future of how Avion Rewards and RBC will scale in all phases of the product lifecycle. You will own the vision and strategy for your aspect of the product, you’ll help define the product’s roadmap and strategy and deliver clear requirements that Designers and Engineers will use to bring your vision to life. You’ll help drive the day-to-day product development schedule from design through to release, own the product lifecycle, define and monitor metrics that measure the success of the product, and define the go-to-market tactics that will be used to drive the adoption of the product.

What will you do?

  • Contribute to the strategy of the Avion Digital Channels product domain, to answer the why, the what and the how. (Avion Channels: Web, Mobile Apps, and Browser Extensions)

  • Leverage Voice of the Customer (VOC) insights and partner with Engineers and Designers to identify how might we solve the most critical friction points impacting the client experience. Act as strong customer advocate in everything you do 

  • Define and create a product roadmap that will deliver on the Channel strategy ensuring alignment with the Avion Rewards overall vision

  • Identify in the roadmap what channel features will require a go-to-market strategy and work with the corresponding partners (GTM, marketing, analytics, etc.) to ensure the outcomes and objectives are achieved

  • As the Avion Digital Channels is a horizontal domain, you will partner with and manage different stakeholders across Avion Rewards and RBC

  • Manage and triage daily requests related to ongoing channel operations including technical issues, communication requests and channel experience

  • Participate in the full lifecycle of product development, including ideation, design, development, implementation and validation

  • Define the OKRs for own product domain to measure the success of the product and define the right visualization to be consumed by different stakeholders

  • Work quickly with minimal documentation and technical support

  • Conduct industry and competitive analysis to identify best-in-class digital experiences in the core channel space (sign in, sign up, navigation patterns, reusable digital components, etc.)

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • A client-centric mindset powered by empathy to understand client needs, with an unwavering commitment to quality

  • Strong understanding of eCommerce and Loyalty programs

  • 3+ years Digital Product Management experience using digital platforms

  • Depth of experiences in managing or owning a Digital or Financial product

  • Understanding and fluent across a broad spectrum of technologies including mobile technologies, AI, security, loyalty and payments

  • Creative and conceptual thinker, strong attention to detail and high-level organization skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to collaborate with and lead a cross-functional team

  • Experience working in an Agile environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience and passion for developing visually polished, engaging and highly fluid user interfaces

  • Experience with and strong understanding of Mobile experiences (native/web) and development

  • Previous people leadership experience

  • Passion for and understanding of Mobile and Digital trends in the Loyalty space, global competitive landscape, and best practices in product management

  • Strong data and analytics background: knowledge about statistical models and how to apply them in product concepts
