Job Description: Sr. Manager, People Technology

Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Manager of People Technology to define the strategy as well as maintain and optimize our people-focused technology solutions. This role is critical in leveraging technology to enhance our HR operations, improve employee experience, and support our organizational goals.

Technology Strategy and Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for people technology aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Partner with functional stakeholders to lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of HR and related technology systems and tools.

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and innovations in HR technology to drive continuous improvement.

System Implementation and Integration:

  • Ensure proper, best in class architecture for all system integrations, data flows and processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

System Administration and Support:

  • Serve as the primary responsible for people technology platforms.

  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing best practices and governance frameworks.

  • Provide user support, troubleshooting, and resolution of system issues in a timely manner.

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and HR leadership.

Training and Change Management:

  • Stay abreast of the latest technology advancements and prepare/educate team to plan changes accordingly.

  • Lead change management efforts to adhere company standards for technology changes and ensure compliance for all audit asks.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization.

Vendor Management and Compliance:

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring adherence to SLAs and contractual agreements.

  • Monitor compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and implement security measures to protect sensitive information.

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain system compliance and mitigate risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • 8 years of experience in HR technology management or related roles, with a solid understanding of HRIT and people technology platforms.  Workday experience preferred.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading HR system implementations and optimizations.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
