EDUCATION • Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable • Degree in accounting, finance or other relevant field CERTIFICATIONS WORK EXPERIENCE • Familiarity with a business environment • Proficiency with Microsoft Office • Knowledge of financial products, accounting principles and compliance regulations a plus • Familiarity on Swift / ISO payment formatting FUNCTIONAL SKILLS • Understanding of the market industry and trade operations • Understanding of wire format for settlement • Knowledge of Microsoft Office • Ability to multi-task • Data processing FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS • Communicates effectively • Is detail-oriented and focused • Learns while doing • Develops analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills • Exercises sound judgement and strives for continuous improvement • Demonstrates optimism, resilience, flexibility, and openness to others' ideas • Follows curiosity • Actively listens and asks thoughtful questions • Leverages available technology to achieve efficiency and results • Engages inclusively and with intent • Always acts with integrity RESPONSIBILITIES • The Settlements Administrator contributes to the success of post-trade Market and Treasury transactions by supporting: • Accurate settlement of trading activity data via relevant systems • Processing of incoming and outgoing wires • Response to customer inquiries • Daily reconciliations • Confirmation of trades and settlement instructions • Input related to customer static data • Preparation of daily/monthly reports • Process Margin Calls across multiple asset classes • Communication with Front Office Business Partners regarding trade booking and settlement inquiriesMitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is an equal opportunity employer.
