About the Team

You will join DXC’s Geospatial Solutions organization, partnering with security‑cleared delivery teams, industry strategists, and enterprise account leaders. The team supports Federal Government departments and agencies with geospatial modernization, secure location intelligence platforms, mission‑critical GIS operations, and cloud‑enabled geospatial analytics.

About the Role

As a GIS Senior Manager, Sales Professional focused on the Canadian Federal Government, you will lead sales strategy, opportunity development, and executive engagement across federal departments and agencies. You will be responsible for expanding DXC’s geospatial footprint in defense, public safety, environmental, natural resources, infrastructure, intelligence, and civilian government domains.

You will collaborate closely with account executives, federal industry leaders, GIS architects, and proposal teams to develop compliant, compelling solutions that address federal mandates, data sovereignty requirements, and mission‑critical operational needs.

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead GIS sales strategy for the Canadian Federal Government, driving revenue growth and market penetration.

  • Identify, develop, and close opportunities across federal departments, agencies, and Crown corporations.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior federal executives, program directors, procurement leaders, and technical authorities.

  • Navigate federal procurement methods such as RFPs, RFIs, standing offers, task‑based contracts, and supply arrangements.

  • Develop compliant, compelling proposals aligned to federal security, privacy, and data sovereignty requirements.

  • Partner with internal solution architects, industry strategists, cybersecurity leads, and delivery teams to craft GIS and geospatial‑enabled solutions tailored to federal missions.

  • Drive account planning, pipeline forecasting, and revenue reporting with accuracy.

  • Represent DXC at government‑focused GIS and technology events, briefings, and industry engagement days.

  • Influence DXC’s Canadian federal go‑to‑market strategies and support long‑term account growth plans.

Basic Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in GIS, geospatial technology, location intelligence, or related technical solutions.

  • Proven success in enterprise sales or business development, ideally within government or regulated environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and build executive‑level relationships.

  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Other Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Canadian Federal Government structures, mandates, and procurement vehicles (an asset, not a requirement).

  • Experience selling cloud, digital modernization, cybersecurity, or mission‑critical technology solutions.

  • Strong collaboration skills within matrixed global teams.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver in a fast‑paced environment.
