Apply today to be an Ink Adjuster with one of the most innovative and trusted packaging companies in the world. Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Ink Adjuster for the Converting plant in Grand Prairie, TX. This is a 3rd Shift position Sun-Thurs 11pm-7am.

Additional $2.50/hr premium for NIGHT Shift only between the hours of 7pm-7am. Any hours worked outside of 7pm-7am will not receive the premium.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work well as a team with ink department and internal customers

  • Responsible for formulating colors for press runs

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of a formula database program

  • Tone inks at the press in a timely manner

  • Data collection for troubleshooting

  • Maintain accurate inventory of inks, ink additives and solvents

  • Unloading and loading inks and ink related materials

  • Responsible for the handling, storage, labeling and shipping of hazardous waste

  • Provide data to Prism in support of the manufacturing, sales and materials information system

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the plant and process safety rules, operating methods and housekeeping procedures

  • Demonstrate effective interaction skills to support team activities related to effective process decisions and goals

Minimum Requirements:

  • Internal Candidates: Must be in good standing (No Discipline above Step 1 within 90 days at time of application)

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Must pass Farnsworh-Munsell 100 HueColor Vision Test

  • Able to lift 50-75 lbs on a regular basis

  • Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google App

  • Positive attitude and ability to adapt to varying work challenges

  • Proven ability to work in a self directed manner

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous ink toning experience

  • Familiarization with X-rite and Pantone color standards
