Job Summary:
Amentum is currently seeking a Warehouse Specialist Lead for the Hazardous Materials Minimization Center (HMMC) Okinawa. Under a United States Marine Corps Installation Pacific (MCIPAC) contract, HMMC provides hazardous material and hazardous waste support services to the US Marines Corps, unit and tenant customers located on Okinawa.
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Warehouse Specialist Lead performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the operation's storage plan. In addition to the essential responsibilities, the Warehouse Specialist Lead provides daily work assignment to Warehouse Specialists assigned to the work center, which includes performance of general duties and responsibilities associated with the efficient flow of materials and processes associated with the warehouse function.
This position has a rotating shift and will be subject to shift changes, weekend, holiday and overtime work. Shift work, weekends, mandatory overtime (with proper notice given) and cross-training can be required in order to meet daily/weekly workload requirements.
