Love travel and all things Aviation? You’re in the right place. At Jetstar, you get to takeoff at work, and in real life.

As a team, we’re lucky we get to do both for a living – and we want you to be part of where we go next. Helping our teammates soar is what we’re all about. And with a new fleet of state-of-the-art aircraft, plus new routes being added, the sky’s the limit.

Jetstar Engineering: A team that takes off together

We rely on our engineers to deliver our superior safety standards, up to the second. They’re the trouble-shooters, glitch-fixers and tech-experts who make sure we take to the sky safely.

As part of our investment in our future, we launched our Melbourne Engineering Precinct as the main maintenance hub of our network and have now welcomed over ten new A321 NEO’s into our fleet.  Our team supports not only the maintenance of Jetstar aircraft, but also that of Qantas Group A320, and A321 Freighter aircraft and Jetstar Branded Airlines (JBA’s) in Singapore and Japan.

Ready for your next adventure?

In our strategic commitment to the future, we are also transitioning our Engineering Maintenance Information System from the client-based TRAX to its web-based counterpart, eMRO. Therefore, we are seeking an Engineering Systems Analyst with a background in Business or Systems Analysis, to support us on ensuring a seamless and efficient implementation.

Reporting to our Engineering Systems Manager, as Engineering MIS (Maintenance Information Systems) Specialist you will be primarily responsible for:

  • Design and develop customised reports based on user requirement and specification.

System Maintenance:

  • Assist with TRAX defect management by working closely with stakeholders, the Product Owner, and coordinating with TRAX Corp. and other service providers.
  • Assist with Production Verification Testing (PVT) when relevant servers are updated or patched to the latest OS version or to remediate vulnerabilities, securing the system from cyber threats.

System Changes and Improvements:

  • Conduct systems and business analysis, including user requirement gathering, process review, data mapping, system testing, user guide documentation, and implementation of TRAX-related projects.
  • Support improvement initiatives on projects requiring system integrations with TRAX.
