Our Opportunity Summary:
As a Global Supply Chain (GSC) Program Manager at Micron Technology, you will play a crucial role in running and delivering successful Digital Transformation Projects! You will take care of, monitor, and lead projects through all phases of project lifecycle - from initiation, feasibility studies, planning, execution and control, being responsible for the timeliness and budget till project closure. You will play a dedicated role leading cross-functional teams (across IT, Digital Transformation and business SMEs) in identifying project requirements, establishing clear and achievable objectives, coordination and adapting the specifications and approach to the different concerns and expectations of various partners, and implement the Micron Project Methodology and project standards. The Program Manager is a strategic role that requires collaboration with business partners to ensure business needs are met! This includes understanding how a project impacts the strategic roadmap of the business and aligning project execution to help achieve business objectives.
What’s Encouraged Daily:
Provide leadership within the program team environment, guided by the Micron Project Management framework and standards
Identify required project resources, collaborate with project partners, solution oriented approach in resolving issues, assign project resources and build a successful team.
Strong and consistent communication in ensuring regular information flow and status reports to all program partners in the project team
Handle the project timeline and budget, and deliver projects within timeline and budget that has been formally approved
Build and lead a detailed project timeline in collaboration with team members
Identify and aim to interim and major breakthroughs that the team is to meet
Identify, document, and respond to risk with mitigation, contingency, or other risk response plans
Call out risks and issues to the appropriate level and formality for resolution
Perform problem solving at the individual, team, or leadership level
Contribute/Co–Lead problem solving efforts by providing guidance for effective and timely resolution.
Have deep understanding of timelines and system environments across projects and programs and business challenges we are trying to address
Operate in a shared resource environment, including Micron direct and consulting resources
Observe current portfolio and company priorities
Participate, as required, as a member of the program leadership group
Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the people side of change caused by projects and change efforts
Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans (including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan)
Work closely with sponsors and project teams to integrate change management activities and strategy into the project plan and support the execution of plans by employee- facing managers and business leaders.
Conduct change assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
Create and lead measurement systems to supervise adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes.
How To Qualify:
Minimum 3 years of experience in leading projects with proven tools, techniques and processes such as PMBOK by PMI
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related fields
Working experience in semiconductor industry or sophisticated manufacturing environment or equivalent experiences
Knowledge in supply chain management
Experience in working with global teams across countries
Strong communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization
Innovative – Drives business process work by looking at ways to be innovative with what we do and how we work. Looks at processes from an end to end view
Comfortable working with all levels in the organization
