This position works out of our Chicago location in the Corporate Strategy & Solutions organization. The CSS organization drives data-driven solutions and generates business value across the Corporate Functions. We leverage state-of-the-art technologies to build innovative applications that address complex health challenges and develop reliable, cost-effective tools.

As the Senior Manager, Data & Analytics, you’ll have the chance to support the Corporate FP&A, CFO & other Corporate Function teams by leveraging data to guide strategic decisions, enhance operations, gain competitive advantage, manage risks, and drive innovation. The successful candidate will ensure data integrity, security, and privacy, combining technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership to deliver significant value to the Corporate Functions. This position will oversee analytics efforts across the portfolio.

What You’ll Work On

  • Lead and manage data analytics projects to support strategic decision-making for Corporate FP&A and CFO teams.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve operational efficiency and gain competitive advantage.
  • Ensure the integrity, security, and privacy of data across all analytics initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data needs and opportunities.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques to manage risks and drive business insights.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of data models, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and apply them to enhance the Corporate Function’s capabilities.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data analytics strategy aligned with the organization’s overall business goals.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of strategic initiatives.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on data analysis.
  • Support the Corporate FP&A and CFO teams in making informed strategic decisions.
  • Oversee analytics efforts across various projects and initiatives within the corporate functions portfolio.
  • Ensure alignment of analytics projects with the organization’s strategic priorities.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and report on risk factors that could impact strategic objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging the use of advanced analytics techniques and technologies.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve data analytics processes and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data analytics initiatives support broader business objectives.
  • Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Allocate resources effectively to ensure the successful execution of data analytics projects.
  • Manage budgets and timelines for analytics initiatives.
  • Track and report on the performance of data analytics initiatives.
  • Use data to identify areas for improvement and drive strategic adjustments.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical skills in data analysis, including proficiency with tools such as SQL, Python, R and data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing data integrity, security & privacy.
  • Excellent business acumen with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.  A Master’s degree is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications in data analytics or related fields.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in business analytics
  • Experience in Corporate Finance function is a plus

The base pay for this position is

$125,300.00 – $250,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
