OVERVIEW:
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Data Analytics
- Develop and analyze product and store capacity data identifying outliers, patterns, and indicators that inform capacity allocation decisions
- Demonstrate the ability to “connect the dots” between various business functions, data and outcomes
- Dive into complex data sets to analyze trends, identify opportunities, and quantify the potential value of new initiatives
- Develop capacity targets through analysis of fixtures, products, store environments, and visual standards.
- Create unit capacity reporting for all front-of-house and back-of-house departments
- Build a maintain a quality assurance program surrounding fixture dimensions and unit capacity standards, identifying and addressing issues to ensure accuracy in all downstream processes
- Partner with Merchandising Operations and Technology teams to validate the alignment of unit capacity data and develop automated processes to enhance operational efficiency
- Identify and implement process improvements translating complex data sets into simplified, and actionable frameworks
Continuous Improvement
- Ability to access, analyze and use information in a manner that adds value to the organization
- Conduct thorough analysis to continually improve capacity utilization; and possess the ability to identify gaps and propose solutions to business needs
Cross Functional Partnership & Communication
- Effectively communicate actionable insights
- Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports, charts, tables and presentations on findings and recommendations to support business decisions across multiple levels of leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to formulate capacity analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables and presentations
- Partner with Merchandising Operations, Technology and Data Engineering teams to operationalize insights
- Strong Athlete focus and ability to meet their needs as a primary driver of one's actions
- Develop and sustain productive cross-functional, internal relationships
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Merchandising, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related Business Field
3 - 5 Years of experience in Space Planning, Store Design, Merchandising, Finance, Buying, Inventory management, or related role
Excel and BI Tool proficiency (required)
Detail-oriented, with strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
Space Management Experience (strongly preferred)
Financial modeling experience a plus
Communication & Presentation Skills
SQL / data query
Retail Store Operations Experience (desired)
Previous experience with retail analytics preferred
