Are you looking for a position to continue supporting the world’s finest submarine fleet? Amentum is seeking a Warehouse Specialist at our Norfolk, VA office.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide material receipt, inspection, packing, crating, handling, shipping, and stowage for government-owned material

• Provide shipping and transportation as required to meet established delivery dates

• Assembly of material into shipments

• Prepare obsolete installation-related material/equipment for turn-in to the Defense Reutilization Material Office (DRMO)

• Conduct random inventory audits of stored material

• Prepare shipping documents

• Conduct material receipt inspections

• Update the inventory database

Minimum Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED

• Specialized Experience: One (1) year of full-time experience handling delicate electronic and electrical equipment and components.  Must be trained and experienced in the identification of Electro-Static Discharge Sensitive (ESDS) equipment and components

• General Experience: Two (2) years of full-time experience in locating and moving equipment and materials between work sites according to predetermined schedules and priorities, and keeping related shipping schedules, shipping/receiving records, and inventory records

• Must have an active secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to maintain a secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced in operating a forklift and material handling equipment
