Security and Environmental Health and Safety (S&EHS) provides quality leadership, services and solutions to safeguard people and the environment, secure and protect company information and assets and enhance operational efficiency for the Corporation. You will serve as the Information Security Manager (ISSM) responsible for interpreting and applying government customer policies.

Work Model

This position will be located 100% onsite in Crystal City, VA with support to Chantilly, VA and Huntsville, AL when needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform as the information assurance (IA) subject matter expert
  • You will interpret and apply policies regarding data handling, computers, and networks in collaboration with internal and National Security Space customers
  • You will coordinate Aerospace and customer secure network activities with all stake holders throughout implementation, authorization, operation, maintenance, and disestablishment of these classified information systems
  • Establish, implement, maintain, and monitor the overall security compliance posture of classified information systems under the Risk Management Framework
  • Attain and maintain classified systems Assessment & Authorizations to Operate (ATO’s)
  • Create and maintain Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) records for all collateral information systems
  • Additional opportunities to work with IC customer RMF processes commensurate with clearance level
  • Utilize IC RMF tools such as SNOW, XACTA, SCAP and others to maintain SCI level assets if appropriate
  • Lead the classified incident handling process and oversee the reporting and investigation of information system security related incidents
  • Facilitate data transfers for users between systems of differing classification levels
  • Display leadership competencies related to velocity as a part of our strategic imperatives

What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma with five or more years of experience, or associate degree with three or more years of experience
  • DoD 8570/88140 IAM level II certification
  • Experience with the RMF process, NIST 800-53, DAAPM, NISPOM, JSIG or related IA doctrine
  • Must be willing to be on-call after hours and on weekends as assigned
  • In-depth knowledge of computer operating systems
  • Provide on-site support for all security actions in accordance with corporate and governmental policies and directives
  • This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

How You Can Stand Out

It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field
  • TS/SCI with adjudicated CI polygraph
  • Have successfully taken a strong portfolio of systems through the complete RMF process
  • Experience with providing incident response by investigating and reporting classified messaging incidents
  • DoD 8570/88140 IAM level III certification
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Previous Special Access Program (SAP) experience
