The Design and Engineering Excellence team is a core part of the cybersecurity engineering function, delivering high-quality solution designs and embedding secure, efficient, and reliable engineering practices into the organization. The team operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, promoting innovation and continuous improvement to meet ever-evolving cybersecurity challenges.
Your impact and contribution:
As the COE Lead - Design and Engineering Excellence, you will:
- Lead the Solution Design team to develop detailed, implementable solutions aligned with cybersecurity principles, business requirements, and organizational standards
- Drive Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and approaches, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and effective for cybersecurity use cases.
- Define reusable patterns, frameworks, and best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality solutioning across cybersecurity engineering.
- Oversee the DevSecOps team to embed security into development pipelines and automate processes for efficiency and reliability
- Build and manage secure CI/CD pipelines, automating vulnerability scanning, compliance enforcement, and secret management, security operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architecture, operations, and incident response, to ensure solutions meet performance, resilience, and security requirements.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
We are interested in people who have:
- Demonstrated experience in leading solution design efforts for complex cybersecurity systems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical expertise in crafting detailed designs, defining reusable patterns, and conducting PoCs to validate new approaches.
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps tools and practices, including secure CI/CD pipelines, vulnerability management, and infrastructure as code (IaC
- A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, including identity and access management, application security, and secure coding practices
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Desirable :
- Experience in cybersecurity engineering, including technologies in identity and access management
- Knowledge of container orchestration, cloud platforms and modern DevSecOps practices.
- Familiarity with SAST tools for secure pipeline management and compliance enforcement.
- A passion for innovation, automation, and delivering secure, high-quality technical solutions.
- Proven ability to foster a team culture of learning, technical excellence, and alignment with organizational cybersecurity objectives.
