Financial Services partner with all areas of CommBank to specialist advice, support and services in finance, audit, treasury, property, procurement, climate strategy and investor relations. 
 

Technology Finance is responsible for the provision of financial control and management services to the Technology business unit. We work closely with our stakeholders to help them understand their technology costs and deliver current and future strategic and financial plans. In Technology Finance we support the technology function to deliver on the four pillars of their strategy; an organisation primed for delivery, a modern technology estate, world-class data and AI, and best-in-class security, resiliency and reliability. 

Do work that matters 

This role reports directly to the Senior Manager in Technology Finance. Your role is responsible for supporting the Platform Hosting, Database, and Storage & Data Protection Crews within the Chief Technology Office (CTO) . Some of the key areas you will be providing support and leadership across include: 

• Stakeholder management of the Executive Managers (Hosting) 

• Monthly management reporting, variance analysis and commentary 

• Supporting and forecasting business proposals through modelling, analysis and insights

The role is responsible for supporting the Senior Finance Manager and you will be responsible for a wide breadth of activities, including but not limited to: 

• Stakeholder management across technology and finance 

• Driver based annual budget and rolling forecasts 

• Monthly management reporting, variance analysis and commentary 

• Financial modelling of business plans and strategic proposals 

• Involvement in ad-hoc financial analysis and broader insights to drive tangible value 

• Identify and assist in implementing ongoing process improvements 

• Contract reviews and accounting treatment 

• Financial control and balance sheet ownership

• Accounting qualification – CPA or CA
