Job Summary:

You strongly believe in efficiency, accuracy and are comfortable working independently to complete specific deliverables. You have advanced proficiency levels using Microsoft Word, Excel and SharePoint online. In this role, you will review and compile existing process documentation, including publication history, to facilitate conversations with internal subject matter experts. You will also record detailed notes to respond to feedback and support business operations by editing and documenting processes, procedures, and forms. You are engaged and energized to work in a dynamic, results-oriented group. You will be responsible for file maintenance and administration of updates to our content management system.

This position is based out of the Edmonton Roper Road office.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Work closely with subject matter experts to document business and operational processes, procedures and forms
  • Notify, track and follow up with internal subject matter experts
  • Set up meetings to facilitate conversations with internal subject matter experts to address employee feedback, accurately record and communicate resolutions, including updates to existing content
  • Generate and manage documents and publish them to our Core Management System (SharePoint) for internal access by operational groups
  • Assist with the implementation of process and procedure improvements or system enhancements
  • Compile bi-weekly content changes and create announcements
  • Provides periodic updates and edits to maintain the SharePoint environment and understands affected systems
  • Track, update, and report system use statistics on a periodic and ad hoc basis to CMS
  • Review documents and correct errors in content and grammar, following prescribed editorial style and formatting guidelines
  • Follow internal processes and perform self-checks on work

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in administrative, business process or other related role
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to listen and gather information while motivating and driving projects forward
  • Proven ability to build and foster effective relationships at all levels within the organization
  • Highly organized, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple competing demands while meeting deadlines
  • Strong computer skills, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 products, Visio
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel and SharePoint
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and MS Power Apps is an asset
