Senior Analyst, Equity Investment Services

The Role

As a Senior Analyst, Equity Investment Services (EQIS) at Fidelity Investments, you will play a critical role partnering with our EQIS team and cross functional partners to support the Equity Portfolio Management team. This is an outstanding opportunity to apply your analytical, project management, and interpersonal skills to deliver data-driven insights to support investment decisions. The individual must:

  • Have a familiarity with Equity investment tools, reports, data, and processing

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects in support of Equity’s strategic initiatives and business operations

  • Develop and implement workflows to support and scale the Equity business

  • Liaise and manage relationships with multiple internal groups who support Equity as well as external vendors on implementation activities

  • Partner with the Equity management team to develop and deliver periodic and ad-hoc analytics that enable data-driven decision-making

  • Coordinate with technology partners and key stakeholders to develop and refine requirements and prioritization needs across Equity

  • Guide discussions and activities to ensure clear communication and collaboration among Equity business partners

  • Manage and communicate program status to stakeholders of various initiatives

  • Identify and articulate program risks and help to resolve issues as they surface

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 3-5 years’ work experience in or working with investment operations in financial services industry

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Strong communication and analytical skills

  • Must be highly organized, meticulous, detail oriented and can work independently

  • Effective relationship management skills across numerous strategic business partners

  • Demonstrated experience utilizing Python and SQL to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and deliver actionable data insights.

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and comfortable in an environment of shifting priorities

  • Excellent judgment, issue management, and problem-solving skills

  • Self-motivated, comfortable taking the initiative, and meet deadlines independently

  • Positive attitude and 'can do' work ethic

The Team

The role is part of the Asset Management Compliance, Risk and Business Operations (CRBO) team, which is comprised of: AM Compliance, AM Risk, Business Operations and Strategy, Counterparty Research & Analytics, Investment Services and Investment Risk Management. The teams work together to support AM’s strategic goals while being the best partner to the business to protect our clients via proactive compliance monitoring, risk oversight and strategic business planning. While part of CRBO, the role is aligned with the priorities of the Equity organization.

The base salary range for this position is $85,000-171,000 USD per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
