About the role

This role is responsible for managing and overseeing operations in India including manufacturing, quality, supply chain, logistics…etc, with covering all product lines within CHAVC and RLC/VRF to support multiple brands and differentiated market positions. This is a USD 400M revenue business with strong growth aspiration to be 3X within next 5 years. This role requires strategic planning, operational excellence, culture adaption and strong leadership skills to ensure the facilities meet or exceed operations goals, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives, define clear footprint within India to drive operational excellence.

• Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company policies.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards through effective quality control processes.

• Resource Allocation: Optimize the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize operational efficiency.

• Budget Management: Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.

• Safety and Compliance: Maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Team Leadership: Lead and develop operational managers and supervisors, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

• Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

• Operational excellence: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, reduce costs, and increase productivity.

• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• More than 15 years of relevant operations and manufacturing working experience in MNC enviornment;

• Proven previous P&L leadership role managing across a diverse portfolio of products;

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire teams, drive change, and deliver results in a dynamic cross functional environment.

• Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with a focus on driving value and achieving business objectives.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.

• Knowledge and previous success experience of relevant regulatory frameworks and industry best practices in strategic management & expansion initiatives.

• Travel may be required upto 25% within & outside India.
