Summary:

The Marketing Specialist will benefit from our national strategies, initiatives and assets and will deploy them in their local region. This role will have the opportunity to manage a wide variety of marketing initiatives—including brand awareness, planning and executing local industry events, developing content and LinkedIn messaging, and supporting design needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Supports the enablement of sales and retention consultants through internal communications, insights, branded resources, and best practices; helps coordinate internal marketing-related meetings; Ensures communications and collateral align with and support the company’s key business objectives, mission, values and brands.
  • Aid in the creation of marketing campaigns to support cross sale and service model delivery.
  • Design, deploy and manage email campaigns to support our content-focused, drip marketing approach.
  • Engage with client and prospect marketing data; leverage data analytics to improve customer experience, innovation, and go-to-market strategy for new solutions; use marketing tools to track and analyze customer/prospect interaction data.
  • Support the execution of industry events (in-person, webinars, and customer advisory focus groups) where applicable, developing print collateral/website messaging, executing marketing automation activities and event analytics.
  • Design marketing collateral for the local office and ensure all content maintains the brand voice.
  • Collaborate with national marketing team in developing goals, strategies and management practices that will ensure dynamic sales growth and industry-leading client retention.
  • Align with national digital media initiatives, including support with the OneDigital website, social media advertising; where applicable.
  • Engage with Voice of the Customer data and reporting; leverage data analytics to improve customer experience, retention and growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing team to manage marketing in-take requests; develop and execute on requests, identify trends and areas of opportunity for standard materials in marketing library.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Ability to multi-task, think strategically and problem solve.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, independent or team environment.
  • Demonstrates experience working with the following design platforms: Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Prezi, Publisher, and PowerPoint as well as one or more organizational platforms such as: Planner, OneNote, Slack, Evernote and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be self-motivated and disciplined.
  • Comfort with technology and using online software to manage your work.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading and interviewing skills are essential.
  • Must be a confident communicator.

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Instructional Design or a related field;
  • Minimum of three years prior marketing experience, preferred;
  • Experience working with much of the following: social, (Hootsuite, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, FB, etc.) digital, (HubSpot, Eloqua, CMS, WordPress, Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, Google Analytics), design (InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, PhotoShop After Effects, Prezi, PowerPoint) and data (SalesForce, Microsoft Dynamics), one or more organizational platforms (OneNote, Slack, Evernote) and Microsoft Office.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
