Summary:
As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs and technical requirements. This position requires continuous interaction with different teams to ensure that data models are accurate, efficient, and support the organization's objectives. The Data Modeler plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation by translating complex data needs into structured models that facilitate effective data management and utilization.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements for modeling purposes.
- Ensure data models are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with organizational standards.
- Assist in documenting data models and related processes to support knowledge sharing and future enhancements.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices in data modeling.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Spark.
- Experience in designing and implementing data models that optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Strong understanding of data integration techniques and data warehousing concepts.
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform data transformations efficiently.
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles to ensure reliable data models.
- Skilled in collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Apache Spark.
- This position is based at our Indore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
