Job Summary

SHI is seeking an Associate Director, Marketing Data and Analytics responsible for architecting and governing the marketing data infrastructure and insights that power campaign strategy, audience targeting, and go-to-market execution. This leader will oversee a team of analysts and data professionals, connecting marketing data, customer data systems and a growing ecosystem of endpoint solutions to deliver high-impact insights, guide investment decisions, and drive revenue outcomes.

Embedded in Marketing but operating cross-functionally, this role is critical to SHI’s marketing transformation and AI automation strategy. The Associate Director will lead a team in delivering insights up and down the marketing organization, providing critical information on marketing KPI’s across the organization and enabling automation to improve customer experience and growth outcomes. Candidates should be skilled in traditional business intelligence and demonstrate aptitude in adopting AI capabilities in a governed manner to foster an insights-driven culture.

Role Description

  • Manage all marketing dashboard design and report development in Power BI  

  • Establish cadence and mechanisms for delivering executive reporting and insights to the marketing leadership team and sharing marketing metricacross SHI  

  • Reduce data sprawl by rationalizing tools/datasets and creating a “single source of truth” approach for marketing performance 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing analysts and foster a culture of insight-driven decision-making across the marketing department 

  • Define and manage the marketing data architecture across marketing automation, web, and other customer and marketing data sources 

  • Accountable for the data architecture that feeds AI models and for the strategic application of AI to generate insights and inform GTM strategy 

  • Partner with IT and data governance teams to establish analytics standardsmaintain data hygiene, and capture repeatable data processes 

  • Define use cases and roadmap for AI/ML in marketing analytics, campaign personalization, and audience targeting  

  • Ensure marketing data AI readiness, including feature engineering inputs, training/validation datasets, labeling strategy, and monitoring for drift/quality. 

  • Own marketing analytics data governance: lineage, documentation, access controls, privacy/compliance alignment 

  • Empower marketing users with data reporting capabilities and exploration, supporting the strategic transformation to a data-driven strategy and automation  

  • Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and success metrics

Other Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or relevant work experience required

  • 7+ years of analytics experience, including 3+ years of people leadership 

  • Strong marketing analytics experience (campaigns, funnel, attribution) 

  • Advanced Power BI expertise (DAX, data modeling, dashboards) and strong data management experience (SQL) with complex datasets 

  • Experience applying AI and ML (machine learning) techniques to marketing data for predictive modeling, segmentation, and campaign optimization 

  • Ability to travel 25%

Preferred skills:

  • Data visualization and dashboard design expertise 

  • Experience in B2B or matrixed enterprise sales environments

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or Azure data services  

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $110,000 - $180,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
