WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Marketing and Communications Analyst, you will support the execution of Santander CIB’s marketing and communications activities. You will work closely with global and European business teams to help develop content and materials that strengthen brand awareness and engagement. In this role, you will assist in coordinating communications and apply global brand tools and guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy across all marketing materials and campaigns.

The candidate should have knowledge and experience of a broad range of disciplines including:

• Marketing and communications skills: Basic understanding of digital marketing and communications, with an interest in applying these in a corporate environment.
• Content Development – Ability to draft clear and engaging copy (both short and long form) for a variety of channels, including internal and external audiences.
• Social media management (tools and content): Familiarity with social media platforms and management tools; experience creating or scheduling content is a plus.
• Organisational Skills – Comfortable multitasking, managing priorities, and supporting several projects simultaneously.
• Collaboration & Teamwork – A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different teams and geographies.
• Support for a responsible team culture

The candidate should have a finance and banking understanding.

EXPERIENCE

• 1-2 years’ experience in marketing and/or communications
• Previous experience in financial services would be preferable

EDUCATION

• Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Journalism,  Marketing, Communications or a related field.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Knowledge and experience of marketing and communications activities within the financial services industry
• Ability to work, communicate and execute in a digital environment across desktop, mobile or other platforms
• Ability to support the design and delivery of marketing materials in line with SCIB’s marketing and communications plan
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Some experience with Web Content Management Tools (Wordpress, Drupal…), Salesforce (or other CRM tools) and Adobe Creative Suite may be beneficial
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and set clear priorities
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to take initiative when supporting projects
• Time management and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal and influencing skills
• Ability to motivate and encourage teamwork and collaboration
