JR67715 Customer Support Laboratory Technician in Leased Labor Contract (Evergreen)

In our Laboratory in Munich office, we enable and validate High Speed memory solutions on real world embedded systems, with particular focus on Automotive applications. In this framework, we frequently receive prototypes for analysis.

We are looking for a Laboratory technician who will work with the team of engineers and enable them to validate and qualify Micron memory products on customer systems. Your responsibilities include work on small pitch BGA, performs complex rework tasks on products in accordance with established standards. Additionally, you will also take care of calibration, maintenance of lab equipment, ESD checks, chemicals, ensuring that the LAB operates smoothly.

This Is a fixed term position in leased labor contract with a duration of one year

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Rework PCBs with de/solder BGA and interposer components
  • Assist LAB engineers by soldering probes and wires needed for the measurement setup.
  • Equipment maintenance and calibration, communication with the Vendor.
  • Ordering of chemicals and consumable materials as per lab needs
  • Regular ESD checks on LAB infrastructure like Tables, chairs, smocks.
  • Keep inventory of required items needed to maintain the rework and repair area
  • Perform intermediate tasks such unpackaging, cleaning, labeling


Education/Required Experience:

  • Qualification as a laboratory technician or apprenticeship in a similar technical field (mobile phone repair, technician, mechatronics, electronics, automotive)
  • Minimum 3 year of work experience in a related technical field or laboratory environment


Qualifications:

Must have:

  • Ability to work with fine pitch components
  • Ability to work with microscope, soldering equipment, solder rework machine, SMT mounting tools
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by standards
  • Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors
  • Ability to adhere to workplace rules
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and component identifications
  • Ability to work with Software tools.
  • familiarity with office software like Word, Excel etc.
  • Proficiency in English language

Nice to have:

  • Experience in any programming language is preferred.
  • Knowledge of German language is preferred
