About Mariana Minerals

Mariana Minerals is a software-first, vertically integrated minerals company on a mission to supply the critical minerals powering modern energy, AI, and defense technologies. We’re reimagining the minerals supply chain by combining deep industry expertise with advanced software, automation, and data-driven decision-making.

The Role

We are hiring a Project Ops Intern to work on real, high-impact problems within the Special Operations team. You will contribute directly to mine operations, MineOS product development and roll out, and scoping new technology solutions, working closely with engineers and domain experts.

This role is designed to provide hands-on experience building and shipping solutions, not just supporting tasks.

What You’ll Do

  • Own a high-impact operations project from problem definition to execution and delivery

  • Build internal tools, dashboards, or lightweight applications to improve operational workflows

  • Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization

  • Use AI tools (Replit, Claude, etc.) to rapidly prototype and ship solutions

  • Work cross-functionally with engineering and operations to translate real-world problems into systems

  • Iterate quickly based on feedback and deploy solutions in real or near-real environments

  • Present outcomes, insights, and recommendations through weekly program review meetings

Desired Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Master of Science / MBA with an engineering or technical background

  • Strong fundamentals in project execution, program management, basic financial modelling, data analysis, advanced statistics

  • Excited about using AI tools (Replit, Claude, etc.) to build up apps to improve operational workflows

  • Hands-on experience through projects, coursework, or internships

  • Ability to break down problems and execute independently

  • Clear communication and willingness to learn
