The Director of Strategic Access is a key leadership role responsible for driving market access, hospital listing to ensure broad and sustainable product adoption in China’s EP market. This role partners closely with Market Access, Sales, Marketing, Government Affairs and Market Access teams to secure formulary listings, tenders, and reimbursement for maximum coverage and efficiency.
1. Strategic Market Access & Hospital Listing
- Lead the development and execution of strategies to secure hospital listings, formulary inclusions, and tender wins for key products.
- Collaborate with the Market Access team to align on pricing, reimbursement (NRDL/Provincial Reimbursement), and health economics (HEOR) strategies.
- Engage with KOLs, hospital procurement committees, and government stakeholders to influence adoption and overcome access barriers.
- Monitor policy changes (e.g., VBP, DRG/DIP) and adapt strategies to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
2. Cross-functional Leadership
- Partner with Marketing to develop value propositions and tools supporting access efforts.
- Work with Sales to align field execution with access priorities (e.g., key account penetration).
- Support Government Affairs/Market Access teams in shaping favorable regulatory environments.
3. Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Develop KPIs to measure success in hospital listings, reimbursement performance.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market intelligence to identify risks/opportunities.
