eBay, Inc. seeks Manager, Product Management 1 – Tech in Austin, TX
Job Duties: Analyze key user metrics to design a data-driven product roadmap. Translate product strategy into detailed specifications, make functional and user interface design tradeoffs, manage product launches, and own the product successes post-launch. Synthesize market changes and technology improvements into practical improvements for the platform. Partner with multiple application development teams across the globe to influence business solutions, make the vision of the product successful and create effective relationships with partner product managers. Supervise and direct the implementation of scalable software solutions to address customer needs based on analysis of user experience reports. Develop strong engineering practices and manage the software development lifecycle including requirement/design reviews as well as code reviews, testing, cut-over planning, and code roll-out. Work closely with a cross-functional team of engineering, design, analytics, product marketing, and user research personnel to deliver products. Implement best practices and own the technical delivery of integration solutions. Manage communications and expectations with internal stakeholders and the eBay community of buyers and sellers Identify technical project risks and work effectively to mitigate them. Telecommuting permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business, Engineering, or a closely related field plus four years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
