Role: Senior Oracle Cloud Extensions Developer

Location: Hybrid from Warszawa, Wrocław, Kraków or Gdańsk.

Key Responsibilities:

The Oracle SaaS/PaaS Extensions Senior Developer is responsible for designing and developing custom extensions to Oracle Cloud ERP (SaaS) using Oracle Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) tools such as VBCS, APEX, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Autonomous Database. The role focuses on delivering scalable, maintainable, and secure custom applications that integrate seamlessly with SaaS modules and support enterprise business processes.

Custom Extension Development:

  • Design and develop SaaS extensions using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), APEX, and Oracle JET
  • Build user-friendly interfaces, workflows, and transaction screens connected to Oracle Cloud ERP
  • Use PaaS services to extend SaaS standard features without violating upgrade-safe principles
  • Integration & Data Access
  • Consume and expose REST/SOAP services from Oracle Cloud ERP via Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Implement CRUD operations, transactional logic, and secure data exchange across cloud and on-prem systems
  • Code Optimization & Security
  • Ensure best practices for authentication (OAuth, basic auth), session control, and data masking
  • Optimize PL/SQL, JavaScript, and SQL code for scalability and performance
  • Technical Documentation & Testing
  • Prepare detailed technical design documents, deployment guides, and test scripts
  • Conduct unit testing and support functional teams in SIT and UAT phases
  • Governance & Compliance
  • Adhere to Oracle SaaS extension guidelines to ensure upgrade compatibility
  • Enforce data security, role-based access control, and audit logging within custom apps
  • Collaboration & Leadership
  • Mentor junior developers and perform code reviews
  • Coordinate with functional, data, and integration teams to align technical designs with business needs

Requirements:

  • 6–10 years of Oracle ERP development experience, with 2+ years in Oracle SaaS Cloud
  • Strong hands-on experience with VBCS, APEX, OIC, FBDI, and BIP/OTBI
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL, JavaScript, REST APIs, Oracle JET, HTML5/CSS
  • Experience integrating with Oracle SaaS modules like Financials, or SCM
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • English: B2 Upper Intermediate
