Description:

Physician Assistant – Surgical ICU/Trauma – Full time / Rotational

Experience autonomy and camaraderie unique to our Physician Assistant team. Practice the art and science of evidence-based medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Become a part of this 24/7 run Surgery PA service. 

Manage a variety of post-operative patients from different surgical sub-specialties, including trauma patients, general surgery, OB/GYN, plastics, vascular, surgical oncology, colorectal, urology, bariatric, liver, renal, endocrine, and acute critical care surgery.  In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to do trauma consults on all floors and the trauma bay.  You’ll be joining the world-renowned Level I Trauma Center in the country.

Work Schedule: Three 12.5 hour shifts rotational.

Preferred Criteria

  • Background in Surgery

  • Critical care experience

  • Strong new graduates with a demonstrated passion for managing surgical patients are encouraged to apply

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies

  • NYS licensure and NCCPA certification

  • BLS/ACLS certification

  • DEA certification

  • ATLS certification

Salary Range:

$147,000-$186,000/Annual
